washington gallery's
one year anniversary
Yahoo! What a night. Our one-year anniversary was a great celebration for everyone! Many local artists took to the microphone to emphasize the importance of having a world-class art gallery with national recognition right in their backyard. Several highlights from the year included making Glasstire’s top five list in Texas; being introduced to Terri Provencal, the editor of Patron magazine; meeting Holly Hunt, and discovering that we both represent Waco artist Ty Nathan Clark.
We also had the pleasure of connecting with various art consultants and interior designers who are impressed by the level of quality in the gallery. Stay tuned for upcoming collaborations. Several guests who attended came from Dallas, and we recognized guests from Austin from our previous meeting at the Affordable Art Fair.
A special surprise of the evening was the announcement of the sale of Greg Lewallen's life-size drawing of a rhinoceros, which was purchased by a client who flew in from New York just to see it! The gallery is becoming a destination for people across the country to experience top talent in Central Texas, and we are so proud to be a part of it.
Stay tuned… we’re only just beginning!
